Hey there!

The Mental Health & Wellness expo was recorded mostly alongside my previous album, Cheer Up! which is why they have such similar covers.

I originally conceived of them as one concept album, but I found myself making more and more things that only very loosely fit the concept, and so I eventually split them up.

Cheer Up! is mostly those less connected songs, and TMH&WE is essentially the concept album I had set out to make in the first place. I leaned on the folkier instrumentations to give it a voice.

I really hate to sound like a grump, but I would defy you, beloved listener, to retell the story of this album (or any concept album, for that matter). Then again, maybe that's the challenge.

Just think of it as being about a character's misguided search for meaning. Or publish an interview with me on the subject!
